Need a break from the same old events, always wanted to skate, or just need some fun? Penobscot Ice Arena offers public skating sessions open to the general public with convenient times throughout the week.
Public Skating is a leisurely skating program open to anyone.

Bring the whole family ice skating at the Penobscot Ice Arena every Saturday night. Have fun and enjoy a hot dog, popcorn, nachos, coffee, hot chocolate or soda in our newly remodeled snack bar.
Come on in and ice skate with friends and family.

Pricing
• Public ice skating admission $5.00, Age 6 and under $2.00
(Group rates are available)
• Skate rental $2.00 (recreational or hockey)
• Children : Ages 2 and over
• Kids ice walkers available
• Birthday parties available
• Bike helmets are required 5 and under

Public Skating Rules

· Skate at your own risk.
· Violation of any rule could mean expulsion from rink. · No one is permitted on the ice without skates. · No tag or games of any kind on the ice. · No sticks - No pucks - No whips. · No Spinning or Jumping. · No food, drinks, smoking or chairs allowed on ice. · Skaters are not allowed to carry children or secondary items such as cameras, handbags, while skating. · No patrons are allowed on the ice during resurfacing · Exits are to be kept clear at all times.
· Incidents or malicious destruction are to be reported to the ice supervisor or manager immediately.
· Throwing snowballs or any objects is strictly prohibited. · No abusive language.
